Heidi Trains Children Warriors Of Life!

Heidi trains children warriors of life!

“In life, you’re going to encounter hard times at some point. This means you must be prepared to endure hardships and find solutions at any moment. You must develop the mental toughness of a warrior that will enable you to face and overcome any challenge or adversity life throws at you”!

This is a very good lesson to learn in life and an even better lesson or ‘skill’ to teach children, says Heidi Ellen Love, owner, founder and director of FitKidz with Heidi.

“The biggest lesson you will ever learn is learn to fail, fail again and come back strong”, thus is the warrior mindset.

Heidi has been training children 4-12 years for just over 2 years and has recently launched Teen Warrior Training, to help address issues surrounding mental health, a much needed physical- martial arts approach during Covid-19.

Fitness and physical health is fundamental to everyone’s well-being. For children it’s paramount that kids learn the importance of keeping ‘active’ from an extremely young age. It provides a foundation for their growth and emotional health. From the age of 4, Heidi teaches free form play and unstructured free play through fun based activities in her FitKidz Programme. The programme itself has been highly researched in terms of the physical and psychological growth of children using highly skilled forms of Heidi’s own unique training from Exeter University under renowned theatre director and mentor Phillip Zarrilli and Heidi’s personal training with His HolinessThe 14th Dalia Lama in Dharamsala India in 1999.

Needless to say Heidi has been around the block and has a world of experience from living around the Globe, studying in Sydney, Australia and performing on stage in Singapore. Heidi’s uses her own life experience and skills to teach children to develop a warrior mindset and create a shield of resilience in everyday life. Her training has hugely influenced many children’s lives during Covid-19 as she jumped online in March to support kids during the first lockdown. She then literally put her business online, her creativity into action – launching an array of online classes.

Today Heidi supports and trains kids from ages 4-16 years at Glenview Hotel and Leisure Club. October 15th 2020 – Heidi during restrictions phase 3 – refuses to give up her Live Classes. She has all her September enrolled kids now doing 1:1 physical health training: dancing, boxing, MAA training, kick-Boxing, weight-training, fit-ball training and more – everyday, in keeping with government restrictions now in phase 3 which does not allow in-door group training. Her programme is unique, fun and literally has everything based on a progressive fun reward theme. The kids love her and the parents say she is a role model. Suffice to say, Heidi never gives up a fight and calls herself a Warrior Woman.

Heidi’s training is a huge opportunity for any child to delve into something different, something fun and something that perhaps people can’t put their foot on…..be it her life experience, empathy or natural way she has with kids.

I see a true warrior as someone who strives to be the best they can be at all things (living life to its fullest) and not necessarily as someone who has prowess in the physical/martial arts of battle, but also in the arts of the psychological, mental and spiritual so that one may have the discipline to change our own …Welcome to Heidi’s Children’s Fitness !!!
