FitKidz 1:2:1 PT is specialised personal fitness training for Teens which involves learning and developing a variety of sports skills through martial art techniques.
Description
Personal Training for Teenagers is structured around building strength and resilience while developing a Warrior Mindset. Training is based around discipline-based techniques including:
- Indian Martial Arts Training
- Resistance Training (Weights)
- Cardio Kick-boxing
- Boxing Techniques
- Body Pump and Sculpting
- Circuit Training
- Full Nutrition Plans
This is unique training for Teenagers which works on mind-set and preparation skills. Kalarippayattu, the martial art of Kalari, is considered to be the mother of all martial arts. Kalarippayattu is a holistic form of physical training, which combines the dynamic skills of attack and defence with the secret knowledge of the Marma points. This training is facilitated by Heidi Ellen Love and is non-weapons based. Practicing the martial art not only increases the bodily strength, but also helps achieve better blood circulation, flexibility, levels of endurance, stamina, concentration, self-control, posture, muscle tone, speed in physical movements and neuro-muscular coordination.
We also focus heavily on resistance training which is a form of exercise that improves muscular strength and endurance. This is also known as strength training or weight lifting. During a resistance training workout, you move your limbs against resistance provided by your body weight, gravity, bands, weighted bars, or dumbbells. After 4 Weeks participants will then be taught different forms of kick-boxing and circuit based exercises.
Due to COVID-19 safety procedures are in place following HSE guidelines and protocols. This is an exciting course for Teens who wish to learn a ‘Warrior’ Mindset and skill-based to prepare participants to face any fears and anxieties they may have. Heidi also provides nutrition plans and specialised diets during this intense training.
